ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ- ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ
- ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಅಥವಾ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಬಹುದು
- ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದ ಸಮೂದಾಯದಿಂದ ಕೂಡ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬಹುದು
- ಒಂದು ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು. Age limit: 12 Years to 17 years (exceptions can be made if the participants of 10 and 11 age group can independently participate in the contest)
- ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು. ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರು ಕೊಡುವ ಭಾರತದ ವಿಳಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
Syllabus for the Quiz
- ವರ್ಣಮಾಲೆ, ಗುಣಿತಾಕ್ಷರಗಳು, ಸಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜಾತಿ ಒತ್ತಕ್ಷರಗಳು, ಸರಳ ಪದಗಳು, ಸರಳ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು, ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ
- ಸಮಾನಾರ್ಥಕ ಪದಗಳು, ವಿರುಧ್ದಾರ್ಥಕ ಪದಗಳು, ಲಿಂಗಗಳು, ವಚನಗಳು, ಕಾಲಗಳು
- ಕನ್ನಡ ಪದ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಗದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಓದುವುದು
- ಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ

Important Points to note
Last date for registration: April 30, 2026
- Parents or teachers can register their teams. Nominal donation of $10 per participant is requested (either from parents or from Kannada Kali schools or Kannada Sanghas) to cover technology and logistic costs. Padaantaranga team will reach out after the registration form is filled and submitted.
- Kannada Sangha or Business Sponsorships are welcome. The event will be co-branded accordingly.
- Participants should be able to clearly understand instructions/questions in Kannada although the quiz master might use bit of English to explain.
- The contests will be on weekends from June to September. Why June? We would like to cover countries outside of Americas between June -August before we start our contests for Americas in August/Sept timeframe.
- Preliminary rounds will be conducted by geographical regions: Asia, EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) and Americas. Final round will be a global contest, and we will try our best to accommodate all time zones considering the age of the participants. If a mutually agreeable time cannot be established, we will allocate the geographies accordingly and declare multiple winners.
- Parents or teachers cannot prompt during the contest. If found, the team will be disqualified. All sessions will be conducted via Zoom. No buzzer rounds to ensure everyone gets equal opportunity. Number of rounds and other details will be provided to registered participants only. Certificates and books will be awarded to individual participants with the corresponding names of the Kannada Kali school or Kannada Sangha written on them. Results will be posted on YouTube and Website.
